The state government on Wednesday transferred Kothari and sent him to Raj Bhawan as principal secretary. Additional chief secretary Ashok Barnwal was given the additional charge of the environment department. Maheshwari has been deprived of the charge of ED of EPCO. Maheshwari will be posted as director of the Indian medicine system. The chief executive officer of the Rural Road Development Authority (RRDA), Deepak Arya, has been given the additional charge of EPCO. Yaseen, who tried to escape in his SUV, was caught with 1.05 grams of MD powder and a semi-automatic pistol.
