Missing Indore man’s body found in Meghalaya gorge Our Staff Reporter The decomposed body of citybased Raja Raghuwanshi, who had gone missing in Meghalaya recently along with his wife, was recovered on Monday from a deep gorge near Weisawdong Falls in Sohra (Cherrapunji). However, the search for his wife Sonam is still ongoing. To note, the newlyweds had gone missing in Sohra, Shillong, on May 23 during their honeymoon. Due to the decomposed state, Raja s face was unrecognizable. His brother identified him through a distinctive tattoo on his right hand bearing the name Raja and by the clothes that he was wearing. DCP (Crime Branch) Rajesh Kumar Tripathi told the media, Meghalaya Police recovered a body on Monday, which was identified as that of Raja Raghuwanshi by his brother Vipin Raghuwanshi. The local superintendent of police also confirmed that the body was of Raja. The delay is to accommodate a Supreme Court directive to conduct the exam in a single shift, ensuring greater transparency and uniformity for candidates. In its initial notice issued on Monday, NBEMS stated, "NEET-PG 2025 scheduled to be held on 15.06.2025 has been postponed to arrange for more Test Centres and required infrastructure. The revised date for conduct of NEET-PG 2025 shall be notified shortly." Just two hours later, NBEMS released a clarification, stating, "the revised dates for the conduct of the NEETPG 2025 shall be notified once approval is obtained from the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in accordance with the order dated 30.05.2025."
