His elder daughter is currently undergoing treatment in the ICU of a private hospital. Agrawal lived with his wife Shweta, elder daughter Somya and younger daughter Mayra in a penthouse located above their showroom. The family was asleep when the fire broke out. Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotiya said that, as per preliminary investigation, the fire is suspected to have started from an oil lamp (akhand jyot) burning in the home temple. However, the possibility of an electrical short circuit has not been ruled out. Police and forensic teams are investigating the exact cause of the blaze. The incident came to light when a neighbour noticed smoke from the penthouse and alerted the caretaker, Raghav.
