"The tone and direction of the investigation suggest a bias toward pilot error. We categorically reject this presumption and insist on a fair, fact-based inquiry," the pilots' association said in a media statement. The endeavours are being made to relocate the identified 32 villages so that their land could be handed over to Panna Tiger Reserve in the coming time. Interacting with Free Press, Field Director of Panna Tiger Reserve, Anjana Suchita said that around 6017 hectares of land would get submerged once Ken-Betwa project is completed. The Ken-Betwa project would submerge 6017 hectare of land of Panna and equal amount of land to be received through evacuation of 32 villages equal amount of land would be received by evacuation of 32 villages in three districts namely Damoh, Panna and Chhatarpur. According to forest department, 8-year-old Nabha was found injured after her soft release in the boma a week ago. Boma refers to an enclosure for animals, used particularly in East and Southern Africa. She was among the 20 Cheetahs who were transported from Namibia in the second phase of India's ambitious 'Cheetah Reintroduction Project' in two batches on September 17, 2022 and February 2023. She sustained a fracture in her left leg while hunting. He said so hours after a student of the institution was arrested based on an FIR lodged at the Haridevpur police station. According to police sources, the complaint was filed by a young woman who is not affiliated with IIMCalcutta. Pallavi Rajput from Udaigarh village had been in love with Siddharth Baser from the Kalal community for two years. On July 3, she left home, saying she was going to college for exams, but never returned. Her family filed a missing person’s report when she did not come back by evening. During police investigation, a video statement from Pallavi surfaced. She confirmed she had got married and would not return to Udaigarh, fearing for her safety. The couple had a court marriage, though the exact date remains unknown to the family. Refusing to accept the marriage, Pallavi's family decided to cut all ties with her. They printed a shok patrika and set up a funeral tent outside their house. Religious priests and relatives were called for the ceremony. The family placed a garland on Pallavi's photograph, marking July 3, 2025 as her ‘death date’ - the day she left home. Her younger brother Aditya had his head shaved as part of a mourning ritual, following traditional funeral customs. The family declared they have ended all relationships with Pallavi and will not maintain contact with anyone who associates with her.
