SP Shivpuri, Aman Singh Rathore said that 15 people were heading towards the temple situated in the backwater of the dam, on Tuesday. Accidently the boat capsized in the water at around 4.30 pm. Among 15, eight including four men and four women were rescued, but four women, one minor girl and two boys are missing. The SP added that the three boats of the dam, boats of local administration are involved in rescue operation. Boats are also called from Gwalior and Datia for rescue operation. The victim’s mother and grandmother told the court that co-accused Chanchal and Basanti also had criminal records and played a major role in the rape and murder of child, so they should be given at least 10 years’ imprisonment. A Class 6 student was gangraped by five youths in a village in Alirajpur district, police officials said on Tuesday. All accused have been arrested. Police said the incident took place on Monday evening. As per the FIR, the 13year-old victim was sitting alone at her mother's shop when five youths came and raped her. While three of them committed the rape, two others acted as lookouts outside the shop. The victim screamed for help, and the girl's mother arrived at the scene. One of the accused was apprehended at the spot. ASP Pradeep Patel said police arrested all five suspects shortly after the incident. Victim has identified two of the five accused. The accused were identified as: Ajmer Singh Rawat (22), Rahul Rawat (20), Arvind Rawat (21), Nilesh Rawat (18) and Rakesh Rawat (21). One of the suspects, Ajmer Singh, has a prior case registered against him. The police said the accused would be booked under multiple sections, including POCSO Act.
