Fortunately, both pilots ejected safely before the crash and were rushed to a nearby hospital for a medical check-up. According to the IAF's official statement on social media, the aircraft encountered a system malfunction while flying near Shivpuri, leading to the crash. "Both pilots ejected safely," the post stated. The incident took place in Karaira village, located around 120 km from Gwalior, where the IAF's training centre is situated. Modi remarked: “This weak growth rate, this failure, led to the term ‘Hindu rate of growth’ being coined in the world. It was an insult to an entire society, a reflection of the failure of those in power. Due to the economic mismanagement and wrong policies of the ‘Shahi Parivar’, the entire society was blamed and defamed worldwide." Gaurav Vivek Bhatnagar NEW DELHI Unlike his address during the Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address in the Lok Sabha when he appeared feisty, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appeared to be using kid gloves against his political opponents during his reply in the Rajya Sabha as he spared some of them and attacked the others in small measures. With the Delhi Assembly election over, the PM did not make any veiled reference to Aam Aadmi Party or its leader Arvind Kejriwal by referring to either “hollow promises”, “sheesh mahal” or “jacuzzi”. His attack was primarily directed at the principal Opposition party, the Congress, but was much milder. In a new line of attack, the PM said the allies of the Congress were deserting it because of its behaviour. “The country’s oldest party is in a difficult situation now. Those who were with it during the Lok Sabha elections have left it.” Accusing the Congress of having destabilised and disturbed governments of other parties in the past, he said, “I am giving an unsolicited advice—if you will stop disturbing others, it may allow you to get 10 metres closer (to power).” He also took a dig at the party saying the word ‘Constitution’ does not gel with it as it “handcuffed and chained leaders like George Fernandes during the Emergency”. The PM also drew from his Lok Sabha address, when he again charged that the Congress did not care for the deprived sections of the society. He recalled that the grand old party ignored repeated demands from various parties for giving constitutional status to the OBC Commission, which his party’s government finally did. 4Continued on | P8 Trump to sanction world court ‘Deportations as per US policy’ Online Report WASHINGTON Gaurav Vivek Bhatnagar NEW DELHI fp Briefs NAGPUR India beat England, take 1-0 lead in series Shubman Gill anchored the chase with a measured 87-run knock as India defeated England by four wickets in the opening ODI to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series on Thursday.
