If investment proposals received in Regional Industries Conclave (RIC), Interactive Session and GIS are clubbed together then the state received investment proposals of Rs 30.77 lakh crore. He was addressing press conference after GIS conclusion. He said that more than 85 Memorandum of Understandings were signed during GIS. After GIS, the government is going to scrutinise proposals and will contact investors so that investment could come to the ground level. Giving details of investment proposals received he CM announced to construct a convention centre in Bhopal and a sum would be allocated shortly in this regard. In future, big programmes will be held at the convention centre. He also announced that Bhopal will be developed as the most beautiful capital by taking care of its water bodies, infrastructure, road network, etc. T from different industrial houses, he said that the journey of the state will continue even after the conclusion of GIS. Jain gave the information about the follow-up of the proposals received at summit in the concluding function of the two-day GIS. Jain said he would hold a meeting with the officers to review the investment proposals every month. MP has become one of the fast-developing states in the country in the past 12 years, he said. The observation came from a bench of Justices B R Gavai and Augustine George Masih after a plea concerning disposal of the waste was mentioned before it for urgent listing. The apex court had on February 17 sought responses from the Centre, the Madhya Pradesh government and its pollution control board on the plea which raised the issue of alleged risk to the life and health of residents of the villages situated within one km radius from the disposal site. This means, for instance, that one can travel from Delhi to Jaipur, roughly 300 km apart, in under thirty minutes. The project, funded by the Ministry of Railways, is situated on the IIT Madras campus, where railways are poised to launch their first commercial endeavor soon. Hyperloop, termed the 'fifth mode of transport,' is a high-speed transit system designed for extensive travel. It employs pods traveling in vacuum tubes, boasting extremely high speeds with minimal friction and air resistance. The decomposition of this waste results in emission of about 4400 million tonnes of CO 2, equivalent to 8 per cent of global carbon emissions. But what if the food scraps are used to make concrete more robust and sustainable, reducing CO 2 emissions? The process can reduce up to 20% of CO2 emissions from the construction industry, one of the highest contributors of greenhouse gases in the country In a green innovation, a team of researchers from IIT Indore has demonstrated that addition of food waste along with selected non-pathogenic bacteria can double the strength of concrete, improve durability, repair cracks and help with CO 2 capture, along with cutting down the cost of concrete. The research team, which consisted of Prof Sandeep Chaudhary, Dr Hem Chandra Jha, Dr Akshay Anil Thakare, Shivam Rajput and Dr Sanchit Gupta combined its expertise of civil and bio engineering to develop this process. The research team estimates that the final form of their process can reduce up to 20% of CO 2 emissions from the construction industry, one of the highest contributors of greenhouse gases in the country. After the order of the High Court, those officers may have to face major action who were posted as Nursing Council Chairman (Director Medical Education), Registrar, Council Member, University Registrar, Member of University Executive Council, Vice Chancellor, Inspector etc. during the period of giving recognition to ineligible colleges. All other nursing cases were heard along with the PIL of Law Students Association President Vishal Baghel. During the hearing, Justice Sanjay Dwivedi and Justice Achal Kumar Paliwal of the High Court's Special Bench have ordered the government to present the list in the next hearing. The High Court, on Tuesday has directed that if the report is not submitted till the next hearing, the responsible officers will have to appear in the court. 4Continued on | P10
