"In a sweeping crackdown on online terror networks, Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) launched coordinated raids across Kashmir on Sunday, sending a decisive message against extremism and cyber abuse", the CIK said in a statement. It said that acting on credible intelligence regarding the online glorification of terrorism and the radicalisation of youth, CIK teams targeted 10 specific locations spanning Srinagar, Kulgam, Baramulla, Shopian, and Pulwama. NEW DELHI Rs 4K cr through sale of govt scrap The Centre has earned as much as Rs 4,085.24 crore through five dedicated annual cleanliness (Swachhata) campaigns lasting one month each since 2021, through disposal of scrap, including electronic scrap, from different central government offices as part of the Special Swachhata campaign, Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh said on Sunday. The minister also disclosed that another significant outcome of the campaign was that 231.75 lakh square feet of space has been freed for productive utility which was earlier choked and blocked with waste material, worn out furniture and scrap. China Eastern becomes the first Chinese mainland-based airline in 2025 to resume direct passenger flights between China and India, the report said, adding that the Shanghai-Delhi flight achieved a load factor of over 95 per cent. PATNA The high-octane campaign for the second phase of Bihar assembly election ended on Sunday, as altogether 122 constituencies spread across 20 districts will go to the polls in this phase. These constituencies border Nepal, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand. The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has already sealed the border with Nepal till November 11, the day of voting. A total of 1302 candidates – including 1165 men, 136 women, and one from the third gender – are in the electoral field. There are over 3.7 crore eligible electors, as 6255 out of them are above the age of 100 years in this phase. Among the voters, 1.95 crore are men, 1.75 crore are women, and 943 are from the third gender.
