"As I've shared with family, friends and our team since late last year, I have made the decision to disband Hindenburg Research. The plan has been to wind up after we finished the pipeline of ideas we were working on. And as of the last Ponzi cases we just completed and are sharing with regulators, that day is today," Anderson announced. In the last few years, Hindenburg Research had launched a campaign against Has Rahul got 'contract' of Hindenburg's shop, asks BJP The BJP on Thursday took a swipe at Rahul Gandhi, asking him if he has now got the "contract" to run Hindenburg's "shop" which it said "works in sync" with the Congress to destabilise India. "Rahul Gandhi is in the complete grip of urban naxals' thinking process... Now that Hindenburg is closing its shop, have you Rahul Gandhi got the contract for it," BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said the Adani group. Its reports published since 2023 had resulted in billions of dollars of loss for the Indian billionaire. All the charges were denied by Adani and his companies. The sudden and surprising announcement by Anderson comes within days of a Republican Congressman, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, asking the Department of Justice to preserve all the documents and Car plunges into canal as youth films reel, two killed Congress MP Jairam Ramesh on Thursday stated that the closure of Hindenburg Research doesn't mean a clean chit for the Adani Group. He believed the matter goes far deeper, involving abuse of Indian foreign policy, misuse of investigative agencies, and capture of institutions like SEBI. He pointed out that the Hindenburg report, which accused Adani of financial irregularities, was serious enough to prompt the Supreme Court to set up an Expert Committee communications related to the investigations of Adani and his companies. 4Continued on | P6 Nod to 8th Pay Commission FP News Service NEW DELHI Our Staff Reporter BHOPAL In a tragic incident on Wednesday night, a car carrying three youths fell into a canal near Inayatpur village, resulting in the death of two and injuries to another. The police investigation reveals that the car was being driven by Vinit Daksha (22) while he was recording a video for a popular social media app. The driver lost control of the car while crossing a narrow culvert, leading to the vehicle plunging into the canal. According to police officials, the three youths—Palash Gaikwad (25), Vinit Daksha, and Piyush Gajbhiye (24)— were traveling in the car when the accident occurred around 11:30 PM. Vinit, who was filming the video, failed to notice the narrow culvert in time and lost control of the vehicle. As a result, the car plunged into the canal. Piyush Gajbhiye, the lone survivor of the incident, managed to break the back glass of the car and escape. He tried to rescue his friends by opening the doors, but was unable to. He raised an alarm, alerting locals who rushed to the scene and contacted the police. The authorities arrived with a JCB machine to extract the vehicle from the canal. Unfortunately, by the time the police arrived and retrieved the car, Palash and Vinit had already succumbed to their injuries. SpaDex in common parlance is the joining of two satellites in space (the pro- cess is docking) and the separation of two satellites (undocking). This is crucial for the construction of space stations and the operation requires advanced technology and high precision for both docking and undocking. This success is seen as a giant leap in achieving the future goals of sending manned missions to the Moon and the exchange of electric charge between two satellites among others. On its official X handle, ISRO said: “Docking Success Spacecraft docking successfully completed! A historic moment. Let’s walk through the SpaDeX docking process: Manoeuvre from 15m to 3m hold point completed. Docking initiated with precision, leading to successful spacecraft capture. Retraction completed smoothly, followed by rigidisation for stability. Docking successfully completed. India became the 4th country to achieve successful Space Docking. Congratulations to the entire team! Congratulations to India!.” 4Continued on | P6 E-paper Edit A fragile truce in West Asia P.8 NO DEAL WITH MILITARY TO COME OUT OF JAIL: IMRAN Torrent Power to invest Rs 18k cr MUMBAI dustrial hub. Located in Bandra, a posh neighborhood in Mumbai, the Khan residence was normally a sanctuary for the actor, his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their two young sons. But that night, their peace was irrevocably disturbed. The series of events that followed not only left the star with grim injuries but also set off a massive police investigation that would unravel a web of mystery, intrigue, and unanswered questions. The first sign that something was amiss came from a maid, who was the first to encounter the attacker. The woman was reportedly roused in the dead of night by strange noises coming from the room of Saif Ali Khan’s youngest son, Jeh. When she entered the room to investigate, she found a man—dressed in a simple Tshirt, jeans, and carrying a The police have identified the accused: CCTV footage reveals he is fairskinned, about 5'6" tall and physically fit. When the maid tried to intervene, he turned violent. Her scream echoed through the hallways, and in a few seconds, Khan ap- peared at the door, likely roused by the commotion. His attempt to calm the situation, to reason with the intruder, proved futile. The assailant, who was armed with a knife, lunged at the actor, stabbing him six times— one of which punctured the spine near Khan’s thoracic cord. The attacker, unrelenting, even left the scene with a chilling detachment. Surveillance footage released later revealed a man fleeing the scene at 2:33 a.m., walking briskly down the stairs of the building. His face briefly glanced at the camera mounted on the wall as he passed, a fleeting moment that could hold the key to his identity. He was carrying what appeared to be an orange scarf and a bag, but his features remained obscured—an enigmatic figure in the shadows of an otherwise tranquil night. 4Continued on | P6 4See also | P7
