It also arrested five people, including a warden from Tihar jail. The factory was being used to manufacture drugs in partnership with a member of the Mexican drug cartel Jalisco New Generation, known as CJNG, the NCB said. The operation, a collaboration between the NCB and the Special Cell’s Counter Intelligence unit, took place on October 25 in a factory located in the Kasana Industrial Area. Authorities discovered various chemicals including acetone, sodium hydroxide, methylene chloride, premium-grade ethanol, toluene, red phosphorus, and ethyl acetate, along with imported machinery intended for manufacturing. Two of the accused were arrested at the factory, while two others were arrested between October 25 and October 26.
