India is also a big customer of Russian oil, much to the West's chagrin. 4Continued on | P6 Hunters shoot blackbuck, carcass found in farmland Incident took place in outskirts of Bhopal Our Staff Reporter BHOPAL Unknown hunters have shot dead a five-year-old blackbuck in Barkheda Salam village situated on the outskirts of State capital. Its body was found lying in the private land of a farmer on Monday morning. Forest officials recovered the corpse of blackbuck and sent it for postmortem. A case has been registered against unknown hunters and hunt is to identify and capture them. Forest department sources said that at 9.45 am, Barkheda Salam residents Veer Singh Mewada and Sadaram informed that a blackbuck was lying dead in private land of a farmer. The rescue team of for- est department rushed to the spot and saw that blackbuck had died due to a gunshot wound. The bullet had passed through its body. Chief Conservator of Forest Rajesh Khare told Free Press that it appears hunters shot the blackbuck on Monday night but failed to take away its body which was found intact.
