The joint registrar Vinod Kumar Singh was conducting the enquiry into the complaint. The officer demanded bribe of Rs 5 lakh to give a clean chit to the complaint. The complaint was submitted to the Lokayukta by Vinod Sharma and verification of the complaint was carried out by the officials. One day, Shalini told her that uncle, an ex-army man, in- dulges in unnatural acts, and she felt uncomfortable about it. The 46-year-old personnel used to tell the child that this was a game which they would play every day. The parents approached the police, the man was arrested and sent to jail. But neither Shalini nor her parents have managed to overcome the trauma. Whenever she crosses the shop, which the man used to run, she gets Around 300 cases of sexual assault on minors referred to City’s Sakhi One Stop Centre over past 18 months terrified. But our policy is that for international tours, we always seek the permission of the government. It's up to the government to decide whether our team should go to any country or our team should not go to any country," Shukla told reporters here.
