He further suggested that the Mahabharata ‘chakravyuh’ had a lotus shape, thus drawing the Bharatiya Janata Party into the analogy. Warming to his theme, Rahul mentioned that PM Modi had the lotus symbol pinned on his chest like a badge of honor. Linking the analogy to the Union Budget, which was recently presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Gandhi said the BJP ‘chakravyuh’ is causing harm to crores of people. He alerted the police who rushed to the spot and freed the woman, who had reportedly been screaming for help for two days. Identified as Lalita Kayi, the woman was apparently from Tamil Nadu. How she happened to reach Sindhudurg from Tamil Nadu and end up being chained to a tree in the jungle near the village of Sonurli is the mystery. Police have recovered Xerox copies of her US passport, an Aadhaar card with a Tamil Nadu address and other documents from her, a police officer said on Monday. “The woman was rushed to a hospital, first in Sawantwadi, and later shifted to Oras in Sindhudurg. Considering her mental and physical state, she was shifted to Goa Medical College for advanced treatment. She is out of danger. Doctors treating her said she suffers from psychiatric problems.
