CHANDIGARH Toy train overturns, boy killed A 10-year-old boy died after the compartment of a toy train in which he was taking a joy ride overturned at a mall here, police said on Monday. The incident took place on Saturday night at Elante Mall, where the boy and his family from Balachaur in Nawanshahr, Punjab, were enjoying an outing, they said. A purported CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced on social media. WAYANAD Tiger scare in Wayanad ends Farmers and local residents of a forest fringe village in this district in Kerala, who have been living in fear of a tiger, heaved a sigh of relief on Monday morning as the big cat was caught in a trap set by the forest department. The tiger, identified as 'Tholpetty 7' was creating panic in Kenichira region, near here, killing four cows in two days. The animal had fallen into the trap set by the forest department on Sunday at around 11 pm, forest officials said. According to the officials, the tiger reached the cowsheds where it had attacked the cattle recently. It was caught in the trap kept there. A vacation bench of Justices Manoj Misra and SVN Bhatti, which fixed June 26 for hearing Kejriwal's plea against the interim stay granted by the high court at the time of reserving its verdict on ED's plea said, "Normally, on stay applications, orders are not reserved. They are passed at the hearing itself, on the spot. So, it is a bit unusual." The bench said it would like to wait for the pronouncement of the HC order before taking a call on Kejriwal’s appeal. The department has sought time from Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to present the master plans before him. After the inclusion of CM’s instructions, the draft master plans will be published. The presentation of the master plans will soon be made before the CM. According to sources, Urban Development Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya has already discussed the master plans with principal secretary Neeraj Mandloi. The department wants to publish the draft master plans within a month so that they may be carried out. The FARs and areas set aside for green belt had been amended before the master plans of these two cities were prepared. The suggestions, which emerged during the separate meetings with the people’s representatives in Bhopal, were included in the draft master plan for the state capital. Likewise, major changes in connection with land use are being made in the master plan of Indore. Indore is continuously expanding. So, there are proposals to give permission for setting up colonies on agricultural lands at many places there. Such suggestions have been included in the master plan. The controversy that started with the comment made by Pandit Pradeep Mishra of Sehore Kubereshwar Dham regarding Radharani's maternal home. After Vrindavan's Premanand Maharaj expressed his displeasure over this, a Mahapanchayat was called against Pandit Pradeep Mishra in Braj. The Mahapanchayat was called to chalk out a blueprint on how to protest against Pradeep Mishra in future. Mahapanchayat was held under the aegis of Padma Shri Ramesh Baba and the saints and Brajvasis of Braj were present in it. A 50-year-old man, his son and a nephew were killed following a land dispute in their family on Monday morning in Damoh district, police said. Superintendent of Police Shrut Kirti Somvanshi said, that the incident took place at Bansatarkheda village under Damoh Dehat (rural) police station limits. Three culprits were identified and efforts were on to arrest them. Two persons were shot dead, while a man was killed with a sharp-edged weapon in the village, he said. An initial probe indicated the incident was the fallout of a land dispute in the family, he said, adding further investigation was underway. The deceased have been identified as Ramesh Vishwakarma, his son Umesh Vishwakarma (23) and nephew Ravi Vishwakarma (24), the police said. Police said that the assailants Raja Vishwakarma, Golu Vishwakarma, Sajal Vishwakarma first opened fire at bus stand area on the Umesh and Ravi when they were going to attend the coaching class on their motorcycle. Both died on the spot. Then they headed towards the house of the victim and opened fire on the house. They came to know that Ramesh is hiding in the house of Rajendra Vishwakarma and they reached that house.
