ED recovers Rs 35cr from man with Cong link RANCHI The Enforcement Directorate on Monday claimed to have recovered Rs 35.23 crore "unaccounted" cash during searches at the premises of a domestic help allegedly linked to the secretary of Jharkhand minister Alamgir Alam, official sources said. About Rs 3 crore cash was separately recovered by the central agency from some other premises being searched, the sources said. Videos and photos shared by the sources showed officials of the agency taking out wads of currency notes from large bags in a room located in a building at Gadikhana Chowk here. Some central force security personnel were also seen. A domestic help of Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Alam's personal secretary Sanjiv Lal is alleged to be residing at this location. CONTD. Justice Vivek Agrawal, who passed the order, observed that Article 16(6) of Constitution leaves no iota of doubt that reservation for economically weaker section excludes SC, ST and OBC category. Thus, it is evident that EWS reservation is available only for general cate- gory and is not extendable to OBC, SC or ST. Thus, when examined from this perspective, then total posts available under the unreserved category in the cadre of Laboratory Technician is 34, then earmarking 4 posts under the EWS category cannot be said to be arbitrary, because there could not have been 10% reservation of total number of posts of 219 out of which 122 are for the OBC, 46 for ST and 13 for SC category . Special public prosecutor Sudhavijay Singh Bhaodoria said, "Those acquitted include Sweta Vijay Jain, Arti Dayal and Abhishek Singh. The children were transporting a water tank to a wedding, the police said. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sonali Dubey said, "A tractor overturned due to overspeeding in Tineta village in the district in which four children and the driver died while two other children sustained injuries in the incident. On getting the information about the incident, the police reached the spot." After the post mortem, the bodies will be handed over to the family, she added. The deceased have been identified as Lucky Markam (10), Anup Barkade (12), Rajveer Gond (13), Devendra Barkade (15) and the driver Dharmendra Thakur (18).
