When the senior police officers of the district came to know of the constable's story, they were shocked. According to reports, the woman constable posted in the police lines of Satna had been missing from duty since November 19 last year. As soon as she met Pradeep, he snatched the mobile phone from her and played some tricks that made her almost senseless. He then took the constable to Ghaziabad where he forced her to marry him. When she refused, Pradeep beat her up and forcefully married her. She said that from Gaziabad Pradeep took her to Gwalior, where on the instructions of his maternal uncle, he married her again. People displayed great interest in seeing tigers in comparison to cheetahs, which were brought to Kuno from Namibia and South Africa by spending crores. A little over 200 tourists visited Kuno on December 31 and only 89 tourists on January 1. On the contrary, the other national parks of the state saw a huge rush of tourists, including foreign tourists. In December alone, Kanha Tiger Reserve recorded a footfall of around 31,000 tourists. In the last week of December, the number of tourists doubled in Kanha. Likewise, more than 25,000 tourists, including 1,581 foreigners, visited Panna Tiger Re- serve in December. Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve and Satpura Tiger Reserve were also swarmed by the tourists in thousands of numbers at the same time. Notably, Kuno is the only national park in the country having cheetahs. Interestingly, cheetahs have attracted the attention of the entire country, but only few are turning up at the Kuno National Park.
