The mosque committee had even stopped the ASI team from conducting a survey on Thursday saying that it was in violation of court orders. Meanwhile on Friday the court extended the time limit for eight more weeks. The mosque committee had written a letter to the District Magistrate of Varanasi requesting him to stop the survey after September 2. The committee had stated that since there is no court order now, the survey cannot be continued. ON P8 Three traders died due to lightning in a market located in Shahdol district. The incident took place at 6.30 pm on Friday evening in Bakho Nagar Parishad under Amalai police station area. Three retail traders died after lightning struck on Mangli Bazaar amid heavy rain. The bodies of all three have been kept in Budhar Government Hospital. After post-mortem, the bodies will be handed over to relatives on Saturday. The deceased are Sunil Kumar Kushwaha, 45, of Dhanpuri, Kunjilal Jaiswal, 42, of Amalai and Godu Navani, 48, of Budhar. The police have denied that the claim that the man was made to consume 'urine' by local women. The enraged women had bashed up the man and pa- raded him around the village with shoe garland around his neck on September 4. Police have arrested the man identified Chhotelal Uike for creating ruckus under CrPC 151 and sent him to jail, police said. The video of the incident surfaced on social media on Wednesday 6. Police in-charge Savita Uike said the kin of the man have lodged a complaint against the women for beating him and allegedly making him consume urine.
