The cottage and village industries department was with minister Gopal Bhargava VARANASI: A fresh application has been moved before Varanasi district judge by Rakhi Singh, the main plaintiff in the Shringar Gauri case, demanding survey of the 'wuzukhana' (ablution pond), excluding the purported 'Shivling' found in it last year, in the Gyanvapi mosque by the ASI. The court has fixed September 8 for taking up the application. The ASI, at present, is surveying the mosque complex, excluding the 'wuzukhana' in which the purported ‘Shivling’ was found during a courtmandated survey on May 16, 2022. The Varanasi district judge ordered this survey on July 21 on an application filed by the other four plaintiffs in the Shringar Gauri case. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in a post on the social media platform X on Tuesday said: "Smile, please! Pragyan Rover clicked an image of Vikram Lander this morning. The image was taken by the Navigation Camera onboard the Rover (NavCam). NavCams for the Chandrayaan-3 Mission are developed by the Laboratory for Electro-Optics Systems (LEOS)." Interestingly, ISRO has now called its moon lander as Vikram and the rover as Pragyan. Earlier the Indian space agency termed them just as Lander and Rover. The Indian space agency had called the lander and rover of its Chandrayaan-2 mission as Pragyan and Vikram. However, while attempting a soft landing on the moon, Vikram crashed down. India on August 23 reached the Moon with its lander safely landing on the lunar soil in a textbook style. Later the rover rolled down and started doing experiments. ISRO completes launch rehearsal of Aditya-L1 Giving an update on its Aditya-L1 mission to study the Sun, ISRO said on Wednesday the launch rehearsal and the rocket's internal checks have been completed. The mission is scheduled to be launched on September 2 at 11.50 am from the Sriharikota spaceport. It will be the first dedicated Indian space mission for observations of the Sun to be launched by the Bengaluru-headquartered space agency.
