This is the second major cyber attack on a government site after AIIMS Delhi's server was majorly hacked last week. Officials said that a preliminary probe has been initiated by concerned agencies into the hacking of the Ministry's account. They said that the account was restored shortly and the suspicious tweets from the hacked account were removed. Sources said the hacking took place early morning on Tuesday when suspicious activity was witnessed on the page. It came to light when a tweet promoting crypto wallet Sui Wallet was first posted by the Jal Shakti ministry account early this morning. Moreover, the account's profile picture was also altered with Sui's logo. After the hacking, the tweet by the ministry's handle also tagged numerous unknown accounts and subsequent tweets followed the same pattern. ON P6 Centre asks FM radio channels not to play songs glorifying drugs NEW DELHI: The Centre has cautioned FM radio channels against playing songs or broadcasting content glorifying alcohol, drugs, weaponry, gangster/gun culture. In an advisory to FM radio channels, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has asked them to strictly adhere to the terms and conditions prescribed in grant of permission agreement (GOPA) and migration grant of permission agreement (MGOPA) and not air any content in violation thereof. "Any violation shall entail such penal action as RNI No. mpeng/2010/35815 deemed fit in accordance with the terms and conditions laid down in the GOPA/MGOPA," the advisory said. The advisory was issued after the ministry found that some FM channels were playing songs or broadcasting content that glorified alcohol, drugs, weaponry, gangster and gun culture. It pointed out that the Punjab and Haryana High Court had taken judicial note that such content affected children of impressionable age and gave rise to gun culture. It said such content was in violation of the AIR Programme Code and the Centre had the right to impose sanctions for suspension of permission and prohibition of broadcast. Police station in-charge Manish Raj Bhadoria said the woman had been facing harassment since 2020.
