Hearing a complaint from a resident of Balaghat district, MP State Information Commissioner Rahul Singh advised police headquarters to maintain a separate inward and outward (Aawak, Jawak) register at all the police stations across the state for confidential information. The complaint pertained to denial of information by Balaghat police from a police station’s dispatch register. Singh said as far as confidential information was concerned, police should use severability clause of RTI Act to hide a particular part of confidential information while releasing the rest of general information. As per order, appellant Mahesh Kumar Pardhi filed a second appeal with State Information Commission after he was denied information related to dispatch register by Balagahat police on the ground that it was confidential. Pardhi had field an RTI application on April 7, 2022, with public information officer (PIO) sub-divisional officer of police (SDOP) Arvind Shrivastava in Waraseoni. CONTD. The sources said that NRIs' accounts were being used by the PFI members to send fund from Gulf countries. After receiving the fund, the member would transfer it to other account from where they would withdraw it. Their supporters and members were working in UAE, Qatar, Turkey and in Oman from where they had been financially supporting the PFI, and this money was allegedly concealed by the PFI from the eyes of agencies. To fool the Indian agencies, the PFI has created a number of dummy organisations. Three of these were founded in abroad. The sources said that a number of PFI workers travelled to UAE in last two years. The purpose was allegedly to collect funds for the organisation. Huge cash was allegedly sent to India by PFI members through Hawala route. From Oman, PFI workers sent around Rs 44 lakh to India via Hawala routes. The agencies said that in Gulf countries they raised money after radicalising their members and businessmen. They used to show particular videos to show how Muslims were unsafe in India. CONTD. The apex court had said in 2019 the chaining of mentally ill people cannot be allowed, calling it "atrocious" and "inhuman". Monday The blocked videos had a cumulative viewership of SPREADING COMMUNAL DISHARMONY over 1.30 crore and claimed that the government had taken away the religious rights of certain communities, an official statement said. "These channels had content that spread fear and among misconception Thakur communities," said. An official statement said the blocked content includ- ed fake news and morphed videos spread with the intent to spread hatred among religious communities. Examples include false claims such as the government has taken away the religious rights of certain violent communities, threats against religious communities and a declaration of civil war in India, the ministry said.
