Imran escapes plane crash NEW DELHI: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreeke-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s plane made an emergency landing after experiencing a technical fault on Saturday, as per media reports.However, PTI leader Azhar Mashwani on Saturday clarified that Imran Khan returned to Islamabad soon after takeoff due to "bad weather conditions", Pakistan-based newspaper Express Tribune reported.The clarification came in response to some media reports claiming that Imran Khan escaped a plane crash after it developed some technical faults mid-air as he was heading towards Punjab’s Gujranwala city to address a public gathering. “Reports of any technical fault in the aircraft are incorrect,” the PTI leader wrote on his official Twitter handle. He added that later Imran Khan left for Gujranwala by road.
