"The Centre is closely monitoring the spread of lumpy skin disease in cattle…Special teams have been sent by the Centre to Gujarat and Rajasthan to review the situation and measures taken to control the Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD)", as per an agency report. Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Parshottam Rupala has reviewed the situation, a senior ministry official said. The ministry has deputed Central teams to visit Rajasthan and Gujarat for the review of containing and controlling operations of the LSD in cattle in these two states. The teams are holding visits from Mon. day The Gujarat on Sunday said that a total of 999 cattle, especially cows and buffaloes, have died in the state due to the disease. In a formal complaint to Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and IT Minister Ashwani Vaishnav, the traders’ representative has sought urgent legal action. India had banned and restricted several apps like Tik Tok, Shareit, AppLock, PlayIt, Inshot, and had and Camscanner, raised serious concerns of collecting data in a surreptitious manner that compromised personal information of users, further posing a severe threat to national security. As per the CAIT complaint, many apps have resurfaced in a new avatar. CAIT general secretary Praveen Khandelwal said, “A few months after the ban on some Chinese Apps, clone apps started appearing on play store, which shows clear signs of being masked clones of the originally banned apps. ON P6 NEW DELHI: The Enforcement Directorate has told the Delhi High Court that the investigation has been carried out against Vivo India strictly in accordance with the provisions of PMLA and the offence relates to money laundering which is a heinous economic offence. , The financial probe agency in an affidavit filed in Delhi HC, opposed the petition filed by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer and said the commercial engagements of the petitioner and its reputation and goodwill are not a relevant consideration during the investigation into the offence of money laundering by the respondent. The affidavit further stated that the employees of Vivo India, including some Chinese nationals, did not cooperate with the search proceedings and "had tried to abscond, remove and hide digital devices which were retrieved by the search teams". The ED told the court that due process of law has been followed while freezing the bank accounts of the petitioner and it cannot be said to be violative of Article 21. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the incident and said the state government is providing all possible help to the victims.Superintendent of Police Anurag Vats said around 4.45 am, a private double-decker bus from Bihar's Muzaffarpur on its way to Delhi collided with another bus parked on Purvanchal Expressway under the Lonikatra police station area. ASP Manoj Pandey said the accident took place near an eatery close to Narendrapur Madraha village. The parked bus was on its way to Delhi from Sitamarhi, also in Bihar.
