Govt hands over e-tendering scam to EOW HACKERS CHANGED RATES of three PHE• e-tenders of Rs 1000cr OUR STAFF REPORTER Bhopal The state government has handed over the probe into e-tendering scam in public health engineering department to economic offences wing (EOW). EOW additional director general V Madhu Kumar told Free Press that the agency has registered a case in e-tendering scam and initiated the probe. The documents are being collected and further action would be taken, said Kumar. It has come to light that three etenders, to the tune of Rs 1000 crore of department of PHE, were hacked and their rates were changed. The tenders were invited by ‘Jal Nigam’ under the department of PHE in December, 2017. The tenders for Rajgarh were of Rs 656 crore and Rs 282 crore, while a tender of Rs 138 crore was for Satna.
